So I've wanted to 'legitimately' start a blog for a long time now. Something on a topic I care about enough to write regularly. This blog here has kind of been a showcase/timeline of different pixel art I do, but during the school year I'm way too busy to really work on pixels, so it creates some awkwardly long lapses in posting.

Rick is the big city everyman. Sleazebag landlord, overweight, balding, and he always seems to wear track pants with a dirty wife beater. Between him and the midget, I am on a roll! Coming next; apartment complex doorman, and asian gardener.

So from my personal game here's some graphical updates (the first character will look familiar). The 2nd is a robed lizard from the desert. Or a "lizard wizard" as the lady calls him. I have sprite sheets with all 4 directions for each one, but I don't wanna completely give away all my graphics :)

So, with summer finally here I've begun work once again on my pixel art. My personal (still unnamed) free roam game, in addition to another untitled one that I'm doing in collaboration with a bunch of really talented writers/musicians. The collaborative project is set in the modern day, so I get to draw lots of fun suburban objects like TV's, kitchen appliances, barbecues, pools, etc. I'll post screenshots from both projects this week. |

Sometime this week I'll be posting graphical updates for both projects that I'm working on (one is a platformer, and one is an RPG). Both are other peoples' projects that I am doing graphical work pro-bono for. And hopefully ONE DAY (probably won't be until summertime) I'll get back working on my own projects again. |
